When I woke up, Justin's arms where wrapped around my waist and I was pulled up against him. Carefully slipping out of his grip, I walked over to the bathroom. Closing the door, I stripped out of my clothes from yesterday and turned the shower on. Waiting for the water to warm up, I get in letting the warm water run down my body. Grabbing the shampoo, I washed my hair, rinsing it out and conditioning it. Rinsing the conditioner out, I was under the water, running my hands through my hair, when I felt hand's grab my waist.
My eyes snapped open, staring up into Justin's.
"Sorry... Didn't mean to scare you. I just heard the water running and decided I would join you," he said, pulling me into him.
"It's alright. Anyways, how'd you sleep?"
"Like a baby."
Laughing, I grabbed the body wash and rinsed off.
"Your really sexy, you know that?"
I looked over at him, a smile spreading across my face.
"Thanks. Your not too bad yourself."
"Why thank you," he said, taking a bow.
"You know, if there's ever a time you want to talk to me, you can alway talk to me."
"Yea, I know... It's just so hard for me to talk to you because you remind me so much of her..."
"Was she your first time?"
"No... We were both virgins. I was a virgin up to a year ago. After finding out she died, I went off with some random chick that reminded me off her. Woke up the next morning and man did I regret it."
"Your fine. Wasn't your fault. I was the stupid one who went off and did it."
"What was she like?"
"She was.... amazing. I mean, she was the nicest person I've ever met, until you made her mad. Once you made her mad, she'd snap you like a twig. She never knew when to hold back. She... always knew exactly what to say to make me laugh. She was friends with almost everyone but she never admitted it. She always said I was her only friend. I didn't mind though. It made me feel special. Another thing that she always did that I found the cutest thing about her was that, when she'd curse, she'd blink. Every time! If she even said ****, she'd blink. It was almost like her body rejected what she was saying... She'd always deny compliments about her. Whenever I called her beautiful, she'd shake her head and blush, telling me that I must be blind when it was really her that was blind. She was just the best."
"She sounds pretty amazing..."
"She was... I just wish I could go back in time so I could tell her that I loved her... But, now it's too late..."
"You don't know that..."
"Yes I do, she's dead!"
"I'm sorry Justin... I just don't believe she's really dead. I just have this feeling that she is."
"Not to sound rude princess but it doesn't matter what you feel, I KNOW she's dead."
"I'm really sorry Justin."
"Quit apologizing for stuff that's out of your control."
We both started laughing, staring at each other. When I stopped to catch my breathe, Justin reached over and pulled me into him.
"Can I tell you something, and you won't tell anyone else?"
"Of course, you can trust me."
He leaned down, getting closer to my face.
"Sometimes, I look back at the times I'm with Parris and think about all the times I could've told her how I felt about her... And every time I do that, I always end up crying because maybe, if I'd just told her how I felt about her, then she'd still be here."
"Justin... Don't do that to yourself."
"I don't mean to. I do it without thinking about it and by the time I realize what I'm doing, it's too late because I'm already crying."
"You’re so sweet, Justin. Promise you'll stop doing that?"
"No but's! If you won't do it for yourself, do it for me."
He sighed, looking down into my eyes.
"Alright, for you."
"Thanks you. Now, let's get going."
I don't know, but after he said that, something twinkled in his eyes. But just as quickly as it appeared, it disappeared.
Shutting the water off, I grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me. Justin followed after, wrapping his towel around his waist and going out into his room. I started putting my clothes from yesterday back on when Justin came in with a change of clothes.
"I thought you might want a different set of clothes."
"Thanks. I forgot all about the clothes you had gotten me."
"It's fine. Now hurry up and change. I wanna show you something."
"OK, just let me change."
"I don't know, I still think you look sexy in just that towel."
"Oh yea? Why's that?"
I giggled, making my hair fall in front of my face to cover my blush.
"OK, anyways, go ahead and change so we can get going."
"Yes sir!" I said, saluting him.
"That..." he said, taking a step closer to me. "...was cute."
I pouted, looking up at him.
"I wanna be sexy, not cute..."
He chuckled, grabbing my hips and pulling me closer to him.
"OK then, that was very SEXY."
"Thank you. Now, go. I need to change."
"OK, but only because we need to get going."
He walked out of the bathroom, closing the door behind him. Putting on the new clothes Justin handed me, I picked up my old outfit and carried them out into his room.
"What do you want me to do with these?"
"Just throw them in my laundry hamper beside the bathroom door."
Turning around, I saw him hamper was overflowing with clothes. Setting mine on top, I walked over and took a seat on his bed.
"Don't get too comfortable. We gotta head out soon."
"I know. You said you wanted to show me something."
"Yea. All I have to do is grab a few things then we'll be on our way."
"Can I help you with anything?"
"Sure. Could you go down to the kitchen and pack a picnic basket?"
"Of course. What kind of sandwich do you want?"
"I'll just have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich."
"Coming right up."
Walking down the stairs, I walked into the kitchen and grabbed the breadt. Opening and closing cabinet after cabinet till I found the peanut butter and jelly, I set them on the counter as I looked for a knife. Grabbing one from a drawer, I started making Justin's sandwich. When I was done making his, I started making one for myself. Finding some baggy's to put them in, I slipped them into it before grabbing a bag of chips.
"Whatcha doing princess?" Luke said walking into the kitchen. He was wearing a red v-neck with black skinny jeans.
"Just making some food for a picnic."
"Do you need a basket?"
"Yea. Could you get me one?"
Walking out of the room, he reappeared a second later with a basket.
I took it from him and set it on the counter. Opening the lid, I started putting the food in. Going over to the fridge, I grabbed two waters and two beers, sticking them in with the food.
I was just about to go up and see if Justin was done when he walked into the kitchen.
"Yea. I was just about to come up and get you."
"OK then, let's go."
He grabbed the basket, leading me outside to his Range Rover. He put the basket in the back while I got in the front. He got in after me, putting the key in the ignition and turning the car on. He put it in drive and pulled out of the driveway, taking off down the road.
"Sooo... You gonna tell me where we're going this time?"
"Nope. That would ruin the surprise."
"Like I said last time, I hate surprises."
"Oh, quit your whining."
I smirked, an idea coming to mind.
"But I don't wanna," I said in a little kid voice.
"That... is very cu... I mean sexy."
"That's the point."
He looked over at me and I winked at him.
"Why are you being so flirtatious today?"
"Just letting loose. Besides, your a very smexy guy."
"You've got that right!"
"Well someone's got a big head."
"That's not the only big thing on me."
I almost choked on my spit, not expecting him to say that.
"What? Cat got your tongue?"
"No, I just wasn't expecting that."
I looked down at my hands, remembering yesterday at the club.
"There's something else I should probably tell you about yesterday..."
"Go on. I promise, I won't get mad at you."
"Wel... Marcus, the one from the gang yesterday..."
"What about him?"
"It just, he was asking me if I'd want to have sex with him and his gang. It just kinda freaked me out. Sorry, I just needed to get that out."
"What exactly did he ask you?"
"Well, I had told him that I had a lot on my head and he said he could help me with that. I told him I was fine but he continued on and said that he'd promise they'd go easy on me. The part that really got me was that all of them where watching me with lustful eyes."
"Don't worry. I promise you that none of them will ever lay a hand on you."
"Thanks Justin. That means a lot to me."
"Your welcome. By the way, we're here."
Looking out the window, I could see a wooden cabin just a little way's away on top of a hill. The hill was covered in many different colored flowers and the bottom of the hill was met by tree's.
"Are we going up to that cabin?"
"I guess you could say that."
"Well, let's get going."
I opened my door and jumped out. Walking to the back of his car, I opened the hatch and grabbed the basket. I started walking towards the cabin when Justin grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
"Let me carry the basket."
He grabbed my hand holding the basket, slipping the basket out of it. Slipping it into his other hand, he continued to hold my hand.
He led me up the hill, keeping his eyes straight ahead. I'd occasionally reach down, picking a flower till eventually I had a bouquet of multi-colored flowers.
Once we reached the top of the hill, Justin led me over to the cabin.
"We're not going to go in it because the floor is fallin’ apart. Instead, we're going to go on top of the roof."
"What? Why on top of the roof?"
"Because the view from up there is beautiful."
"But, what if the roof caved in?"
"It won't, trust me. I've been on top of it a million times."
"OK, but if it does, I blame you."
"Don't worry, I'd catch you before you'd fall."
"What if you fall too?"
"I'd grab you and cushion your fall."
I took in a deep breathe and nodded.
"OK, let's go."
"I'll go first then help you up."
We circled around the cabin till we came across a ladder by the side of the wall. He quickly climbed up the ladder, setting the basket on the roof before climbing up, disappearing from my site. A second later, his head peaked over.
"Come on princess. Don't worry about falling, I've gotcha."
I walked over to the latter, grabbing onto it's sides before making my way up. When I got to the top, Justin grabbed my hand and helped me onto the roof.
"Was that so bad?"
"No. That's not the part I'm worried about."
"Just relax and enjoy the view."
I looked out and gasped. He was right. The view up here was amazing! Instead of seeing the city, all you could see where tree's. Looking behind us, I realize that if we were sitting on the other side of the roof, we would be looking at the city.
I looked over to Justin and smiled.
"It's amazing! I'm so used to seeing the city. It's different seeing trees all over the place."
"I always come out here when I need to clear my head and get away from the noise."
"I hope you don't mind but I might have to use this myself."
"Go ahead. It's not like I own the place."
"Does anyone own this land?"
"Yes but they never come out here."
"Yea, lucky us. You wanna know something Parris?"
"Sure, what is it?"
I could feel his eyes on me but I continued to look at the trees and different flowers.
Moving my gaze from the tree's to Justin's face, I smirked over at him.
"What are you talking about?"
"You've just been so kind and helpful to me lately. I've had a lot on my mind and you've helped me take my mind off things."
"Glad I could help."
"You ready to eat princess?"
Justin and I had been sitting on the roof for about two hours now, taking in the scenery and talking about anything that came to mind.
"Yea. I'm starving considering I never ate breakfast."
"Yea, me either."
He opened the basket lid, grabbing one of the sandwiches and giving it to me. Grabbing the bag of chips, he opened it and set it between us. He pulled out his sandwich, taking it out of its bag and took a big bite out of it. I quickly ate my sandwich then started to eat some chips.
"What'd you bring for drinks?"
"Look in the basket."
He opened the lid and pulled out the beers.
"Your awesome, you know that right?"
"I get that a lot."
He popped the top off one of them before handing it over to me. I gladly accepted it and took a drag from it.
"You know what I find sexy?"
I pulled the beer away from my lips and looked over at him.
"What do you find sexy?"
"A girl who knows how to drink a beer."
"What can i say, I like me my beer."
"I can tell."
I finished my beer and stuck it in the basket. Yawning, I layed back and put my hands behind my head, looking up at the sky. After Justin finished his, he layed back too. While he was looking up at the sky, I sat up, turning my body, then layed back down. This time, my head rested on his torso.
"You comfortable princess?"
"Yes, actually, I am. Your abs are kinda hard though."
He chuckled, making my head bob up and down.
I looked up at the sky, watching as the clouds went by.
"That cloud looks like a flower," I said pointing up at one of the clouds above us.
"That one look's like a mushroom house."
"A mushroom house?"
Yes. And that one looks like a car."
"I can see that one. That one looks like a dog's head."
"That one looks like a penis."
"What? Which one?"
"That one," he said pointing at one a little way's away.
"It does not. It looks like a wrench."
"Is looks like a penis. I don't care what you say."
"Well, that one looks like boobs."
I scoffed, staring up at him.
"I give up."
He smirked down at me, then brushed a piece of hair out of my face.
"I have to pee."
"What am I supposed to do about it?"
"Well, what do you do if you have to pee when you’re up here?"
“I just go into the woods."
"Eww, that's so gross!"
"Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go. How badly do you have to go?"
"Then just go in the woods."
"Fine. What do I wipe with?"
"You don't. Well, I don't because I don't want to risk anything."
"Just don't think about it?"
"Trust me, I'm not."
I got up, stretching before walking towards the latter. I was about to step onto it when there was a loud crack. I felt the floor give way under me as I began to fall towards the floor. Reaching out for anything in my reach, my fingers brushed passed the boards on the roof as I fell towards the floor. With a loud thud, I smacked the floor, but went straight through it. When I finally stopped moving, I layed where I was, staring up at the hole in the roof. Justin's head peeked through it, looking down at me.
"Oh my gosh! Parris! Are you OK?"
I tried to reply but I couldn't find my voice so I just sat there, looking up at him.
"Parris, if you can hear me, say something."
I tried again but the only thing that came out was a gargled, choking sound. His head disappeared out of view and I started to panic. Was he just going to leave me here to die? I listened for any sound, but the only thing I could hear was my own, uneven breathes. Finally, I heard a loud bang then saw Justin standing over me.
"Parris? Parris, can you hear me?"
I nodded my head, still not able to reply.
"Can you speak?"
I tried again, but again, the only thing that came out was the gargling sound. He carefully picked me up, watching my face for any facial expressions. Standing up, he walked back out the door and started towards his car.
"You feel OK?"
"Yes." I said, using all the breathe I had to speak.
"I'll get you home and let you rest."
He opened my door, sitting me down and buckling me in before shutting my door and running around the front of his car. Getting in, he quickly started the car and took off down the road.
I shut my eyes, suddenly very sleepy. My breathing was back to normal and I moved my arms and legs, making sure nothing hurt. Settling down into the seat, I leaned my head against the window and let it cool my skin.
"I'm sorry Parris. I never meant for that to happen. I should've caught you..."
"You’re fine Justin."
"But I promised you I wouldn't let you fall."
"That was out of your hands."
"But I promised you... Now you’re hurt."
"Justin, I'm fine."
"You have a gash on your forehead and a cut down your torso and back."
"No I don't. I would feel it if I did."
"Touch your forehead then."
With a tentative hand, I reached up, running my hand across my forehead and sure enough, I could feel the warm, wet blood. Looking down, I could see the blood soaking through my shirt and I could feel the blood running down my back.
"I suddenly feel very light headed now."
"Don't worry. I'll have you home soon. Just, don't fall asleep."
It was already too late. I could feel myself slowly slipping out of consciousness. Taking one last look over at Justin, I could see the worried look in his eyes as he glanced between me and the road. When I blinked again, I couldn't open my eyes. They were just too heavy.
When I woke up, I was back in my room. Sitting up, I winced, feeling a sharp pain in my back and torso. Looking down, I had bandage wrap on my torso. Reaching up and touching my head, I realized that it had bandage wrap on it too.
"Hey sleeping beauty. How you feel?"
"Like I've been run over by a train. How long have I been out?"
"For a day. It's Saturday."
"What? No way."
Reaching for my phone, I pulled up my calendar and sure enough, it was Saturday.
"You really scared me there for a while. I haven't slept at all since I've gotten you back. I've changed your wrap twice so far and I'll have to change it again in... three hours."
"Wait, you haven't slept? Like, at all?"
"No, I've been too worried about you."
"Justin, come over here and sleep. I'm awake now and I'll be fine."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure. Now, come here."
He got out of my chair and climbed into my bed. Pulling the covers over him, he snuggled into my side.
"Wake me up if you need anything or if it's time for me to change your wrap."
"OK. Just get some sleep for now."
He yawned, laying his head on my shoulder and falling asleep. I waited till his breathing evened out before carefully slipping my shoulder out from under his head and headed for the bathroom. Looking in the mirror, I realize I was a wreck. I had twigs and leaves in my hair from the fall and I had a bruise running up the length of my left arm, over my left cheek, and down my left leg. Seems like my left side took the most damage.
Picking the twigs and leaves out of my hair, I threw them in the trash before brushing my teeth and putting some eye liner on. Grabbing my foundation, I applied a little bit to my left cheek, trying to cover up the bruise but you could still faintly see it.
Sighing, I walked out of my bathroom and headed for the kitchen. Going over to the fridge, I grabbed a popsicle and a glass of water. Sitting down at the table, I munched on the popsicle while staring at the vase on the table. My light pink flowers had been replaced by the multi-colored flowers from the hill.
After I finished my popsicle, I got up and threw the wrapper in the trash. Looking over at the counter, I spotted my light pink roses sitting in a cup full of water. I smiled at myself, knowing Justin must have done that.
Walking back to my room, I climbed back into bed and snuggled up next to Justin, closing my eyes and letting his heart beat lull me to sleep.
Oh my gosh!!!!! I love it!!!!! I have been reading this story since before I got an account and I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!! Update soon!!!!!!!! Would you read my story? I would love to know whT you think!!!!!
I woke up to the light's streaming into my window. My eyes fluttered open as I raised my hands above my head, pushing them against my head board as I stretched. I muffled a yawn, looking over at the spot beside me where Justin had been, only to find it empty. Laying on my pillow in his place was a pink folded note with a teddy bear beside it. I picked up the note and set the teddy bear in my lap. Unfolding it, I noticed the handwriting was purple.
Morning princess. I have a special surprise for you. Just follow the purple arrows.
Purple arrows? Looking over towards my door, I saw that it was open and there was a purple arrow on the wall in front of my door, pointing down the hallway. Getting out of bed, wincing a little from my cuts, I made my way over to the purple arrow. Slipping it off the wall, I looked down the hall to see another one on the floor, pointing into the kitchen. I walked over to it, bending over and picking it up and slipping it with the others. Looking into the kitchen, I saw a plate of pancakes sitting on the counter. Smiling, I went over and found another note beside it. This time, the paper was yellow and as I unfolded it, I could see that the writing was blue.
I made you breakfast. I hope you enjoy, made them myself. When your done eating breakfast, follow the blue arrows.
PS: Take your time with eating, we have all day.
I smiled, putting the new note with the other's before grabbing my fork and taking a bite out of the pancakes. They were one of the best pancakes I've ever had.
I quickly finished them, setting my fork down on the empty plate before turning around in my seat, looking for a blue arrow. I spotted it on the floor pointing back into the sitting room.
That's weird. I know that wasn't there before.
Hoping down from my stool, I grabbed the notes and teddy bear and walked over to the new arrow. Picking it up, I put it with the rest and looked around. On the couch, there where movies lined up across it with a note on the table in front of it. Walking over to it, I picked the note up. It was on green paper this time. Unfolding it, I could see that the writing was in brown.
Pick out a movie you like and put it on the table. I'll but the other one's away later. Then follow the brown arrow(s).
Putting the note with the others, I turned around to look at the movies. There where only five but they where all some of my favorites: Friends With Benefits, Paranormal Activity 2, The Avengers, 21 Jump Street, and The Vow. Taking one last good glance at all of them, I ended up picking Friends With Benefits. Setting it on the table like he asked, I grabbed my teddy bear off the table and looked around for the brown arrow. I found it on the wall in the hallway, pointing back down it. Quickly walking over to it, I slipped it off and looked down the hall. On the floor in front of my room, there was another arrow pointing into my room. I picked it up off the floor and walked back into my room. Putting the teddy bear on my bed, I looked around to see if there was another arrow. That's when I noticed it. In my bathroom, on the mirror, there was another note on white paper taped to it.
Going into my bathroom, I slipped it off my mirror and folded the tape onto the back of the paper. Unfolding it, I found he wrote the note in orange this time. I must say, I love the many different colors he's using.
Go ahead and take a shower and get dressed princess. Once your done, follow the orange arrows.
PS: I'll be watching
I chuckled and looked around, not seeing him anywhere. Placing the note with the other ones, I was about to get ready when I noticed writing on the back of the paper too.
Oh, and by the way, I took away your makeup. Your beautiful without it.
Wait, he did what?
Opening my drawer where my makeup should be, I found that it was empty. In it, there was another note. On the front of it in big bold letters, it read "Get Ready First!"
Chuckling, I slipped out of my clothes and carefully took of the bandage wrap, setting it on the counter. Looking in the mirror, I could still see the bruises. They were darker than before, making me look like I had literally been hit by a train on the left side of my body. The weird thing is though, the cuts run down the right side of my body.
I walked over to the shower, turning the water on and waited for it to warm up. Once I knew it was warm, I got in, letting out a sigh of relief from the warm water. Grabbing my body wash, I put some on my loofah before rubbing it over my body. After rinsing the soap off, I shut the water off. Wrapping my towel around me, I got back out and found a clean outfit on my counter. Grabbing the note that was inside my drawer, I unfolded it. It was like the other note: on white paper and written with orange ink.
I really think you should go without makeup for at least a day. You look beautiful without it.
Clipped to the top of the paper was a recent picture of me. The picture was taken at the park and it wasn't necessarily the best day for me. But, I wasn't wearing makeup. To me, I looked ugly. I'm just so used to seeing myself with makeup on. But, I guess I could go for a day with no makeup.
Folding the note back up, I set it with the others before putting my bandage wrap back around me. Slipping the clothes Justin had picked out for me on, I was shocked that the outfit actually looked OK. It was a pair of black short shorts and a white tank top to match. After I was dressed, I grabbed my brush and quickly brushed my hair, not bothering to style it. Applying a little bit of my Vanilla Lace perfume, I glanced at myself through the mirror, making sure I looked presentable.
Then, I turned around and walked back into my room. Attached to my window there was an orange arrow pointing up. Walking over to it, I slipped it off the window and stuck it with the others. Getting tired of carrying all of the notes and the arrows, I stuck them in the back pocket of my pants. Before leaving, I walked over to my bed, throwing on my white supras.
Opening the window, I stuck one leg over the window pane, then the other, before standing up on the balcony. Taped to the floor pointing towards the stairs going down was another orange arrow. Picking it up, I folded the tape onto the paper and stuck it in my pocket with the others. Making my way down, I found that Justin had put a ladder on the last floor so I could get down.
Once I was finally on the road, I looked around for any arrows but found none. While I was looking around, someone pulled on the end of my shirt. Looking down, I realized it was a little girl.
"Hey sweetie. Can I help you?"
She had on a pink, princess shirt and a pink too-too skirt with striped pink leggings underneath.
"Are you Parris?"
"Yea, that's me."
I gave her a quizzical look, wondering how she knew my name.
Holding up a red piece of paper, she handed it to me. Looking up at me expectantly, I slipped the note open, finding the ink was in black.
Look back down at Sarah, she has another surprise for you.
So that's the little girl’s name. Putting the note away, I looked back down at Sarah. She held a bouquet of flowers in her hands.
"Awww! Are those for me?"
She nodded her head yes before holding them up to me with both hands. They were red roses with the tips dyed black. Gently taking them from her, I slipped one of the roses from the bouquet and held it out for her. She squealed, taking it from my hand with happiness before running off down the road. Attached to the flowers, I found yet another note. It was on red paper like the other one and it was probably written with black ink as well. Opening the note, I was proven correct.
Follow the black arrows.
Hugging the flowers to me, I started walking down the road, looking for black arrows. I finally saw it on a coffee shop door, pointing up. Slipping it off the door, I walked in. A guy working there noticed me come in and smiled at me.*
"Are you Ms. Parris?"*
"Yep. That would be me."
He walked back into the back and reappeared a moment later with a coffee in his hand.
"Here you go, this is for you."
I took it from him, taking a sip out of the straw.
"This is great! What's it called?"
"That would be an iced mocha caramel frappe."
"It's amazing. I'll definitely be getting this again."
"Thank you. This is also for you."
He handed me a slip of yellow paper. Opening it up, I found that it was written with pink ink.
Hope you liked the coffee I ordered for you. It's my favorite.
Now, go to the park.
Putting the note in my pocket, I made my way out of the store and headed for the park, sipping on my drink as I went. When I got there, I looked around, wondering what Justin had in store for me next. Not seeing anything, I walked over to the park bench and sat down on it. Setting my flowers down next to me, I finished my drink before throwing it into the trash can beside me.
"Is your name Parris?"
I turned around to find a little boy with green eyes and brown hair looking at me. I nodded my head and he started to run over to the playground. He stopped, looked back at me, then waved his hand for me to follow him. Grabbing my roses, I ran after him. He ran up to the playground, climbing a ladder to the top floor on it. Sighing, I made my way up the ladder after him. Once at the top, I had to scrunch over to keep myself from hitting my head on the pole running across the top.
Searching for the little boy, I found him standing by the slides. In his hand, I saw a pink piece of paper. Before I had a chance to ask him if that was for me, he grabbed onto the edge of the slide and flung himself down. Smiling, I followed the little boy down the slide. He was standing at the bottom, waiting on me. Once I stopped and was sitting on the edge, he held his hand out. I took the note from his hand and he ran off. Opening the paper, I saw that the note was written in red.
I enjoyed watching you slide down the slide and climb around on the playground. I hope you had fun. Now, go over to fire pole. The little boy is waiting over there to give you something.
Sticking the note in my pocket, I made my way over to the fire pole. The little boy was standing there, smiling up at me. Crouching down to where I was his level, I smiled back at him.
"In my note, it said you had something for me."
He nodded his head and held out his hand with three chocolate kisses in it. I picked up two and left one in his hand.
"You can keep that one."
His smile widened, showing off his teeth. He quickly leaned in, placing a soft kiss on my cheek before running off again. Standing up, I was about to leave when I noticed a cream note taped to the fire pole. Slipping it off, I opened it and saw Justin's writing in purple ink again.
Go back to your building and come up to the roof. I'll be waiting for you.
I stuck it into my pocket with the other notes and headed back to my apartment. Going inside, I took the elevator to the top floor then walked to the end of the hall. Opening the window, I made my way onto the balcony and climbed the stairs to the roof top. Once I was all the way up, I was met my Justin.
"Like my scavenger hunt?"
"Yea. It definitely kept me entertained."
"I enjoyed watching you."
"Good. So, what now?"
"Now, we are going to go back down to your room and watch Friends With Benefits."
"Yay! Movie time!"
We both laughed at my statement before taking the balcony's down to my apartment. We made it over to my room where he had already set up everything for the movie. There was a big bowl of popcorn sitting on my bed and the movie was already starting to play. Jumping onto my bed, I propped my pillows up some before lying down. Justin joined me, pulling me away from my pillows. He set them against the wall and leaned against them.
"Hey, that was my spot."
He rolled his eyes at me and pulled me into him, making me sit between his legs. I grabbed the bowl of popcorn, setting it in my lap, and leaned back against him.
"You comfortable princess?"
"Actually, yes I am."
"Good, that's the point."
"Shh, the movie’s coming on!"
I grabbed some popcorn, popping it in my mouth. Wrapping his arms around me, Justin pulled me closer to him as the movie started.
"Hey b*tch! I'm home!"
I opened my eyes, staring around my room. Looking down, I realized Justin's arms where still around me but we were laying down now. I was on top of him, the popcorn bowl on the floor. I heard the shuffle of feet on the other side of the door before Lizzie burst in.
"Hey chicka! It's time to get up! It's 8:24 PM! What are you..."
She stopped talking when she noticed Justin under me.
"Holy f*ck! Oh sh*t! Oh my gah! You have a f*cking boy under you! But he's not just some random boy. Nope! You just had to pick the deadliest guy around here! Wait, don't tell me this is the guy you've been going off with."
"He is... He isn't that bad, you know. You just have to get to know him."
"You don't know me that well yourself princess."
I looked up to find Justin just now waking up.
"Oh my god! He's awake!"
Lizzie ran over to me, grabbing me by my arm. She tried to jerk me off of Justin but he still had his arms around me and wasn't letting me go.
"F*ck Liz! That hurts!"
She saw the bruises and let go of my arm.
"What the f*ck happened?!?" Her eyes flashed and her eyes narrowed to slits as she glared at Justin. "Did you do this to her?"
"No! Well... In a way. It happened on my watch, if that helps any."
She looked back at me quizzically.
"When where you planning on telling me?"
"When I saw you again. It's not like I could exactly hide it," I said, motioning down the left side of my body.
"What happened to your head?"
"Happened the same time this happened to me," I said, motioning to my bruises. "I also hurt my back and stomach."
"What exactly happened?"
"Justin and I where on top of an old wooden cabin. We had been up there for two hours when I realized I really had to pee. So I had gotten up to get off the roof when the roof caved in. I fell, falling through the floor too before landing on the ground. I couldn't really feel anything and I also couldn't talk. Justin came down, getting me out of the hole, and carried me over to his car. I passed out on our drive back."
"When did this happen?"
"Two days ago I think. Justin had brought me home and I slept the whole next day. I woke up yesterday for a while but fell back asleep."
"Why didn't you tell me yesterday when you where awake?"
"Because you weren't home when I was awake!"
"Oh... Sorry. And you said you had to go pee when this whole ordeal happened?"
"Yea, but I never got the chance to because I fell through the roof."
"No, you did. You peed your pants," Justin said, frowning down at me.
"What? No I didn't!"
"Yes you did. It wasn't your fault though."
"When did I do that?"
"After you fell and you hit the ground. Don't worry about it. It really wasn't your fault. You couldn't control it."
I grabbed a pillow and threw it over my now lobster red face.
"Parris, come on. You couldn't help it! You were also twitching a lot in your sleep. Oh, and you talked a few times."
"What did I say?"
"You said you were making dinner and asked me if I wanted any. You also asked me who I was cheating on you with. I kinda got a laugh out of that one but I don't think it was really meant for me because you kept saying this one guy’s name."
I tensed up, waiting to see if he'd continue but he didn't.
"Who’s name did I say?"
"Oh... He was my boyfriend five years ago... He was a total douche. I never really liked him. I don't even know why I dated him."
"He would just... abuse me."*
"Mentally or physically? Or both?" Justin asked, concern dripping from his voice.*
"That guy is an idiot, hurting someone as sexy and sweet as you are."*
I smiled, noting that he had remembered to say sexy.*
"Awwww! That's sooo cute!"*
Justin and I both looked over at Lizzie who was holding her hands in front of her face and staring at us.*
"You two are so cute! I approve!"*
"I said, I approve! I like 'em! He's perfect for you, Pari!"*
I laughed at the nickname she used. She used to call me that all the time, then she went back to calling me Parris again.*
"Liz, we're not dating!"*
"What? No way! You two are acting like it! I mean, just look at the way he's holding you!"*
"Me and Cody do the same thing!"*
"Not like that!"*
"Wait, who's Cody?"*
"He's mine and Lizzie's friend," I said, glancing up at him.
"Oh... OK. Is he here?"*
"Nope. He's out with his girl, Megan," Liz said, rolling her eyes.
"Uhh! I wish he'd just dump that whore already!" I said, throwing my hands up in frustration.
"Wait, Megan who?" Justin asked, trying to get into the conversation.*
"Megan ImmaB*tch Carroway," Liz said between gritted teeth. Liz and Megan don't exactly get along. They do when Cody's around but that's only because Liz is trying to be nice. This is the first serious relationship he's had in a while. Even though Liz and I hate seeing him with her, he's happy and that's all that matters.
"I know her. She works down at the club."
"The Gentlemens club."
"Oh, Cheaters?" Liz and I asked at the same time.
"Yep, that's the one. I haven't been there in ages but I remember seeing her there when I used to go."
Liz raised an eyebrow at him.
"You better watch it...."
"You better watch it, Justin. I'm watching you."
"Oh no! I'm sooo scared!"
"Come on. I don't know about y’all but I'm hungry. Let's go out to eat!"
"Midnight Madness of course!"
Midnight Madness is a club/restaurant. The building is split in two: One side is the restaurant, and the other side is the club. Most of the time when Liz and I go, we eat first then go over to the club.
"Sound’s good. Just let me get ready!"
"OK. I have to go get ready to. Leggo!"
She ran out of my room, shutting my door behind her. I carefully got off Justin, making my way over to my closet.
"Can I come?"
"What should I wear?"
"What you’re wearing is fine. Liz and I only dress up because we like to look good when we go to clubs. Like we always say: You never know what hot guy you'll meet there."
"Trust me, I'll be the hottest guy there."
I giggled, grabbing my purple strapless dress with sparkles down the side. Stripping out of my shorts and shirt, I slipped the dress on. It came to about mid-thigh and clung to my ass and chest.
Walking out of my closet, I felt Justin's eyes immediately fall on me.
"Can I have my makeup back now?"
"Nope. You have to go the whole entire day without it."
"No buts. Besides, you look sexy without it."
"You’re just saying that so I'll stop complaining."
"No, you really do look fine without it."
I walked back into my closet, grabbing my heel's that go with my dress. Going back into my room, I walked over to my bed. Sitting down on it, I leaned over, putting the heels on my feet. Standing up, I bent over, adjusting one of the straps, when I felt a cupped hand slap my ass.
"What-the-f*ck Justin!" I said, snapping up.
"What? It was just right there! I had to!"
"You didn't ‘have to’ you chose to."
"You know you liked it."
I turned to where I was facing him before bending over again to finish fixing the strap. Looking down, I realized Justin had a perfect view of my cleavage. Luckily, my hair fell in front of me, blocking his view.
After I fixed the strap, I stood back up and headed for the door. Going over to Lizzie's room, I knocked twice before entering. She was wearing the same dress as me but hers was black. She saw what I was wearing and we both giggled.
"Great minds think alike!" She squealed.
"You ready to go?"
She ran out of the room, almost tripping in the door way. I followed after her, giggling at her silliness.
"Oh-my-gah! I'm so full!" Liz and I groaned at the same time.
We had just finished eating and where ready to hit the dance floor. Justin was sitting beside me in our booth while Liz sat across from me.
"Ready to hit the dance floor?" I asked chugging down the rest of my beer.
"You know it!" Lizzie said, sliding out of the booth and heading for the club. Justin scooted out, making room for me to get out. I slid to the edge, making sure my dress didn't ride up. Taking the hand Justin offered me, he led me to the club. I spotted Lizzie sitting by the bar, chatting up Willie, the bartender. Willie has brown hair and blue eyes. He's eighteen and has been working at the bar since he was ten.
"Do you wanna go to the bar first?"
"Yea. Me and Liz always get drunk before we dance."
"Because it's funner to dance when your drunk."
"OK, whatever you say princess."
I led him over to the bar. Liz saw me and squealed. She already had a drink in her hand and I could see Willie making her another. When he saw me, he smiled and turned around to face me.
"Do you want your usual?"
"You know it Willie."
"Coming right up."
I took a seat next to Liz while Justin stood behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Oh, and Willie, give Justin here a shot as well."
"You got it."
Justin swayed back and forth with the music, making me lean with him. Willie turned around, placing my drink in front of me while he gave Justin a shot.
"What's that you’re drinking?"
"A Mango Tango. I always start off with one of these before I start my shots."
"What's it taste like?"
"Mango's covered with rum."
I leaned down, catching the straw between my lips and taking a drink.
"Can I try it?"
"Sure. But, you have to buy me my shots."
"OK, will do."
He set his empty shot glass down before grabbing my drink and taking a drink from it.
"Eww, you like that?"
"Yep. Taste great to me."
"It's probably just a girl thing."
I took the straw out of it, throwing the straw in the trash. Picking up the glass, I took a big swig from it, being careful not to spill any on me.
"Damn, Parris. You’re crazy."
"She does that every time," Liz said after downing the rest of hers.
I quickly finished the rest of it, setting my empty glass on the counter.
"Time for the shots!" Liz and I squealed in unison.
"Hey, Willie. We need some shots!"
He lined up some shot glasses, filling them before moving on to his other orders. We all grabbed one of the shot glasses, bringing them to our lips before throwing our heads back. It burned going down my throat but I was used to it by now.
"Damn, it gets me every time," Liz said coughing up a storm.
"Damn Liz, maybe you shouldn't drink shots."
"Yea, one’s enough for me."
"Good, more for me."
I eagerly reached for another one. Justin's hand shot out behind mine, grabbing one off the counter as well.
"You challenging me, Justin?"
He raised an eyebrow at me, a smirk spreading across his face.
"Maybe. Think you can outdo me?"
"I KNOW I can outdo you."
Justin and I brought the glasses to our lips and threw out heads back. Setting the empty glasses back on the counter, we both reached for another.
We kept doing this, taking shot after shot. After about eight, I reached for my ninth one, but I didn't see Justin's. Turning around, I saw him shaking his head back and forth.
"Watch this, Bieber!"
He opened his eyes as I threw back my ninth shot.
We both broke out into laughter, laughing at nothing imparticular. I looked over to talk to Lizzie but she wasn't there anymore.
"Hey Willie! Where did Liz go?"
"I don't know. I can't keep tabs on everyone ya know."
Right then, Dance (A$$) by Big Sean came on.
"Oh-my-gah! I love this song!"
"You wanna dance shawty?"
Without waiting for me to reply, he grabbed my hand and led me away from the bar, onto the dance floor. We made our way to the middle before he grabbed my hips and brought me back towards him.
Wobble-dy wobble-dy wa wobble wobble
I'm st-stacking my paper my wallet look like a bible
I got girlies half naked that sh!t look like the grotto
How your waist anorexic and then your ass is colossal, whoop
I started grinding on him, taking his hand off my waist and taking them into mine. He moved his hips against mine, both of us moving in unison.
Drop that ass make it boomerang
Take my belt off b!tch I'm Pootie Tang
Tippy two tippy tay you gonna get a tip today
F*ck that you gonna get some d!ck today
He took his hands out of mine and placed them on my hips again, pushing himself into me.
Parris and I where grinding out on the dance floor. As the song ended, another one came on.
Girl the way you movin' got me in a trance
Dj turn me up ladies this yo jam (Come on)
Imma sip mascato and you gon' loose them pants
And Imma throw this money while you do it with no hands
Our pace changed with the song. She leaned back, her arms snaking around my neck as we continued to grind. Looking down at Parris, I couldn't help but think about my Parris. I need to keep this Parris safe, no matter what. I can't let what happened last time happen again.
Things where going fine for a while before someone jumped in front of Parris and started grinding on her. She went stiff, her body not moving against mine anymore. Looking down, I glared into the familiar blue eyes.
"I see you've met my girl here. Parris, right?" Jake said, smirking at me.
AMAZING!!!!! I love it! Update!!!
