Introduction.

I walked across an empty land...
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand..

"My parents decided taking a vacation to Florida would
be a family thing. Miami, actually.
When you renew your vows, you don't take your kids
with you to the honeymoon...

I felt the earth, beneath my feet..
Stood by the river and it made me complete...

"I didn't expect to actually meet a guy,
no less he was kinda cute. A little bit surfer built,
but I got use to it.."

Oh simple thing..
Where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on..

"Mostly, because that's all he did down here...
Surf and jet ski..He was on vacation too.."

So tell me when,
You're gonna let me in...
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin..

"Instantly, we hit off quite nicely. I didn't want the
vacation to end. Sadly though, it was only for the summer.."

Chapter One..

At night, took comfort in walking along the beach. At the moment, though, it didn't eas my mind..Nor my feelings. I wanted a relief that I couldn't find; and yet, I probably wasn't looking. But somehow, it found me. He washed up on the beach, board falling in right behind him...I couldn't see what he looked like, but at the moment, I didn't really care. Be he did.

"Sorry..About you falling over, that is." He flipped his hair from his eyes, salty sea water splattering in all different directions. He pulled up his board from the sand, walking over. I didn't find him threatening, so I didn't move. "Well, it's not everyday I get distracted from someone as beautiful as you.." I examined him more closely.

Sand-ish brown hair, tallish built..He's a surfer alright. But his eyes...A history held behind amber-russet colored orbs man have not discovered. "You don't even know me." I folded my arms off to him. He smirked, sticking out his hand. "Justin. Now you know me, so may I catch your name?" When I didn't shake his hand, he nodded and drew back. He bit his lip, pulling up his board and walking off...Mumbling to himself as h walked.

"..Do you mean it?!" I called after him, after he'd complimented me involuntarily to himself. He turned, stuffing his board into the sand. Within the night's small light, I could see his lips twitch into a smirk. He crossed his arms, trudging back down the mound to in front of me. "That depends...Do I get a name if I tell you?"


"Sara...My name is Sara.."

After that night, we talked more. He learned where I was from, what I liked to do..He kept direct contact with my eyes than anywhere else in my body, which was a first for me. He even told me a little of him.

He moved to Atlanta with his mother.

He goes to Atlanta High, almost close to where I would be going.

He loves singing.

He has two siblings, to which he misses dearly.

Sadly, our days are numbered. He's only here for the end of the week, whereas I'll be here for the full two.

It's not much, but it's a start. A start to..I guess you can say...

Chapter Two..

Seeing him wouldn't be heard. It was when that was bothering me. I sat around the kitchen in the beach house...Listening to my sister talk on the phone about mom and dad. I was glad their honeymoon was going great...But my impatience was growing thin. Leaving the house was like defusing a bomb...Intricate and time consuming. Dad kept us in his eyes at all time. But then again, that was a cop for you. NCPD's finest.

"Hey, Taylor, I'm going to the beach. I'll be back in a bit." I grabbed my tote as I hopped off the bar stole. She just nodded, morely into the phone conversation than what I was up to. It was fine with me, at least then I'd have company.

Seeing Justin again was..well...sort of relieving. I actually smile, while thinking of him. Thinking of him was something I had grown into. Sadly, it'll end at the end of the week, but I could care less. I slipped out the sliding doors and ran down the backyard to the beach. I wasn't that far from where I first met him. And hoping that I'd see him again, I thought of returning to the spot we first were. I glanced around, but hadn't see him.

"Looking for me?" I turned around, surprised. He caught me off guard, once again. "No...Maybe.." He smirked, folding his arm and walking over to me. The first thing I noticed we his muscles, of course. How could anyone not. "You're not a very good liar." He chuckled lightly, unclasping his arms, letting them fall at his sides. I watched the wind blow at his hair and clothes. It was all such small movements, but very noticeable. "So...Where shall we go?" He offered a hand to me. I hesitantly took it then followed him up at the pier.

"Um...I don't know, I'll follow you." Obviously, that was what I was doing. It only sounded stupid until I listened to myself say it again, inside my head. He laughed lightly again, walking with me. We stopped shortly, he turned. "I know this seems forward but...Would you like to go out tonight? One of my friends is throwing a party and..I'd like if you were there." He asked sheepishly; his hand flew to the back of his neck. I smirked playfully..If I went, then that'd be extra time with him. If I didn't, then I could be going home, having thinking the 'What If' episodes..."Sure...Why not." I giggled lightly. He smiled,taking my hand in his..

The party was loud and crowded. But why wouldn't it be, it's Miami. Justin held my hand the whole time, guiding me through the crowded house. I found that my outfit looked right. Some dark jean shorts, a hot pink baby tee and a pair of black and pink flip-flop. I just left my hair down, and threw on a grey vest.

He introduced me to his friends then wanted to know if I wanted anything to drink. "Um...Sprite!" I bellowed, seeing as how the music was louder with each minute. He smiled, nodding, and walked off to the drinks. I nodded my head to the music, listening to them play 'Bulletproof'. I glanced around seeing how some of the people here were really into what they were doing. Literally.

Some people were smoking. Others were drinking. Or making out...Try all three, at once. I closed myself off from it all, trying to focus. Just some things...the habits don't die faster enough. "Here." He handed me the can, I opened it and took the first swig. I really needed a distraction. "Um. You wanna dance?!" I asked, hearing a song I knew come through the speakers. He swallowed down some of his coke, nodding. I nodded, grabbing his hand and pulling him out on the floor.

I swayed, feeling the music and the speakers's base vibrate through the floor. It channeled up to my legs, as if going through my body. I felt alive. Electric. More fun I had in months, and that wasn't saying much. Justin's hand wrapped at the edge of my hip bone, pulling me closer. I let him, having had the music take control over me. We danced for about an hour or so until the party started to die down. We walked outside; a cool breeze hit against my skin.

"Tonight was fun, I had a really great time.." I murmured, walking along the street, to his car. He nodded, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "I'll glad you had fun..I wasn't sure, you seemed...I don't know, somewhere else tonight." had hoped that he hadn't seen that. I sighed, crossing my arms as we walked up to his car. "...The smoking and drinking, it just...It took me by surprise, that's all." He opened the door for me, I climbed in.

"If I had known about that, I wouldn't have took you..Sometimes, when his parents are away, he has anything and everything at his place." Justin shook his head, starting up the car. I nodded, clearing my throat. He glanced over as he casually hit the road. I stretched, yawning. Had I been tired, when it was only a quarter pass eleven? Without even knowing it, we pulled up to the beach house my parents rented. I didn't want to leave.

"I had fun, really.." I shallowly spoke. He turned off the engine and looked over at me. "Great, great..." It was awkwardly silent for a moment. I reached over and hugged him. It was only for a minute, but it felt like forever. I pulled away slowly, looking him directly in the eyes. His smile was small, bit it was there. I tugged on the handle, exiting the car.

"Will I see you again?"

I loved it
