Well she shouldn't! She's such a sweetheart!

I was going out today. Just for fun to get out of the house, maybe go to the beach and relax. But I just had to get out of the house.

I was walking past Isabella's room and I saw her playing with toys on the floor. I was gonna keep going but then something in me told me stop. I looked at her sitting there alone and i called her name.

"Yes," she asked.

"Do you want to go out?"

"Only if its okay with you."

For a moment I felt like saying "It not okay", but i shunned that evil side of me and smiled at her.

"Of course Bella. We can have a girls day," i said extending my hand to her.

She grabbed my hand excitedly and we were on our way out.

Justin stopped me on our way out.

"Where you guys going?"

"Out," i said.

"Can I come," he asked.

"Nope. Its just me and Bella today. We're having a girls day."

"Whatever. You guys have fun."

I gave him a kiss and Bella hugged him before we went out of the door. When we got into the car I had to strap a booster seat in the passenger seat. Justin had this serious safety issue thing going on right now. So to make him feel better i follow the new rules.

When I strapped herself in and myself I headed to a park I used to visit when I would vacation here.

When we got there I glanced her way and saw her face light up beautifully. I smiled at myself.

For once I'm doing good.


I parked and helped her out of the car.

The park was on the sand of the beach. I could see all the kids out running and kicking up the white sand.

When we got out unto the sand and she looked at me as if to ask for permission, i nodded and she ran off to play with the other kids.

I found a bench and sat down on it and watched as she played.

I sat and wondered to myself if I really could play the mommmy role- no not play but BE the mommy role? Could I see pass the fact that i wasnt her biological mom and just be her mom, no matter what?

I assessed myself and there was one question i felt i had to answer truthfully; Do I see myself wanting her to go back to her mom and eaving my life and me always being known as the "Evil Stepmom" and knowing that i didnt try to make her work, would I be happy in the end?

I couldnt answer that question... yet.

This is very good. I like how she is changing... I think when she opens her heart more too Isabella. She relies how hard her life must of been,, So she loves her, like she is her own. Or starting too

When we got home from the park I could tell she was fighting her sleep. I picked her up and went into the house.

Justin, Chaz and Ryan were on the couch.

Just what I wanted. I sighed and plastered a smile on my face.

I say this because before Bella came Chaz, Ryan, and I were talking and words got exchanged, feelings hurt, and me not wanting to talk to them.

"Hi Chaz. Ryan. Justin can you help me with Bella," I asked trying to go upstairs immediately.

"Yeah."

He got up and grabbed her from me gently and we made our way upstairs. He walked into her room and laid her down on her bed.

"You got her?"

I nodded.

He smiled at me and went back downstairs with Chaz and Ryan. I looked over at Isabella she wasnt asleep. She sat up and stared at me.

"You okay?"

She shook her head no.

I went and sat on her bed next to her.

"What's wrong?"

She looked at me thoughtfully.

"Can I show you something," she asked.

I nodded not knowing what I was getting into. She smiled at me and went to her closet. She came back out with a green book bag. She came and sat next to me on her bed and unzipped it.

She pulled out a little box and opened the lid revealing pictures. She pulled one out and it was a picture of a teenage girl. She had long blonde hair, green eyes, and had a serious tan. Her eyes were almond shaped, they made you feel safe.

"Who's that?"

"My mom when she was 15."

I didnt know what to say at that point so I sided with a simple, "Oh."

"You remind me of her sometimes."

"How?"

"Your eyes make me feel safe and I like you a lot because I think I look like you."

"Thank you Bella," I said smiling at her.

"And I like that you give me a nick name. My mom never gave me nick names."

She looked sad. I pulled her into my lap and let her cuddle against my chest. I kept rocking her until her breathing was soft and sleep intoxicating.

I thought having her feel as if I was the best mommy ever would make me feel good, But it makes me sad to see her compare me to her mom.

I laid her down and pulled the covers over us. I didnt want to leave her comfortable bed.

Before I went to bed I imagined Justin's voice telling me we were all she had. Cause now I really do believe She only has us.

wow, this story. huh. ok, so she's getting nicer, I'll admit, but I still reckon Bellas mum should b with Justin, he doesn't seem like one to have a one night stand
but I still love it! update!!

Its been two weeks since Bella showed me the picture of her mommy and Justin and I have gotten into a few fights.

"No! I don't want her at our wedding! Why does she have to come? Bella has us now!"

"Why not? She hasn't seen her mom in like a month," Justin yelled back.

I could feel the anger, tears, and betrayal shooting through my heart and eyes.

"Why not? Because its my day and I said no!," i yelled back.

"You're so jealous!"

Stabbed me right in my chest.

"Jealous? Of what? Her? Puh-leeze! Kiss my a'ss Justin."

"No i won't an don't you leave. We're not done talking."

I turned, "The conversation is over. I don't wanna talk to you anymore."

He grabbed my wrist and glared at me with a look I've never seen before.

"Not of her. Chaz and Ryan told me what you said. You're jealous of the fact that Isabella isn't yours, she's Rachel and I's child. That hurts you," i said coldly.

I stared at him in disbelief. After how much coping I've been doing of having a child in our home an this is what he says to my face.

I brought my hand up and slapped him. He stumbled backwards and and let me go.

"Grow a pair," i said pulling off my engagement ring.

I threw it at him and went into my closet. I grabbed my suitcase and threw random articles of clothes, panties, shoe and jewelry in it. He came and stood in the door frame.

"Where are you going," he whispered to me.

I looked at him and zipped my bag up. I stood and pushed pass him. I walked by Bella's room and she stood there teary eyed. I stopped and looked at her.

I picked her up and walked down the stairs and out of the house with my bag. myself and my.. my daughter.

"Where are you going with Isabella?"

I put her in her seat and spun and looked at Justin.

"Don't talk to me or my daughter. Go back to Rachel and be with her. I don't want you anymore. Te wedding is-," I paused, "it's off until we can fix our relationship."

This is when he got teary eyed.

"Kay I'm sorry for what I said. Just don't leave. Please don't take Isabella. I don't want you guys to leave."

I shook my head at him. I took off the one thing that I knew would keep me attached to him. The necklace with the very first ring on it.

I gave it to him and got into the car and drove off.

I looked back at Bella and she looked scared. I stopped at the side of the road.

"Don't be sad Bella. Everything is okay. I'm sorry for screaming, scaring you and taking you from Justin. If you want I'll take you back?"

She shook her head softly.

I nodded and grabbed her and held her in my lap. Hugging her wishing I could suck the pain out of heart.

"At the end of the day it isn's really you who needs us... cause I feel like Justin and I need you more then we've ever needed someone before," I whispered.
