One Time {A Love Story}
I was only 14 years old when my mother passed away. She died suddenly of cancer and my family was left in sorrow. My dad didn’t earn much and he had big troubles paying for is son medicine, who also had cancer. One day her father came up to her; “Jennifer, I have trouble paying you brothers medicine.” He sighed, his faced was filled with worry and he was about to cry. “I hate telling you this, honey, but would you mind taking a job?” He looked her straight into her eyes. He body was filled with concern as she nodded to her dad. “I’ll do anything to help my family. I’ll look out for a job dad.”
That weekend she went on the internet looking for a job. She browsed to several sites until she finally found a job. “Busy person looking for personal assistant. Well paid, need to be able to travel a lot.” She thought about it for a second, realizing that if she had to work, being paid to travel would be a cool thing. She decided to apply for the job.
The week passed, she went to school as normal not knowing if she had gotten the job or not. Then, Sunday afternoon she got a phone call. “Hi, my name is Justin” he said. His voice was beautiful and she didn’t realize at that moment it was someone with the voice of an angel. “Are you Jennifer?” He asked. She could feel his smile and good energy through the phone. “Yes, But you could just call me Jen!” She said, smiling too herself. They talked for a few minutes and then he said: “I just wanted to say that you got the job, looking forward to be working with you. When can you start?”
She decided to have one more week school just so she could say goodbye to all her best friends. Then she said goodbye to her dad and her sick brother. “I love you!” she said before she ran to catch the bus. She was meeting her new boss at his apartment in town.
