Chapter 3

• I know you guys don’t know cassie yet, but I put her POV in here because she will be in the story very soon =)

*Cassie POV
RING! That’s the final ring of the day at P.S 189 and im a little worried, why wasn’t Mendi here? She always comes to school; if I was her I would too, who would want to spend a whole day with that thing that Mendi Delgado had the misfortune to call her mom. Hmm, maybe I should check on Mendi… I walk out of school and down the street that leads to Mendi’s apartment. I walk into the building passing an old homeless man on the stairs who says “Pretty girl, walking right past me, teenage girl… little girl” I walk up the the dark stairs and all I am hearing is the sound of an ambulance rushing against heavy traffic. I reach the top of the stairs and take right, there it is apartment 5B. I open the the door- it’s always unlocked, Mendi’s crackhead mom always forgets to close it- and there is a blonde woman on the ground in front of me (probably one of the crackhead’s friends) so I step over her. “Ms. Delgado, Is Mendi here?” I yell into the empty room “CASSIE, GET YOUR ASS IN HERE AND TELL ME WHERE THE F*CK MENDI IS!” I follow the voice into Ms. Delgado’s small bedroom and she is lying on her bed face down, so I walk over to her “cálmate! Ms. Delgado I don’t know where Mendi is either!” Ms. Delgado lifts her head up and reaches and grabs the neck line of my shirt and pulls me close “You better f*cking find her or I’ll…” but before Ms. Delgado had time to finish her sentence she passed out so I pluck her hands off of my shirt and turn around- the TV is on. I reach over to turn it off but then something stops me “ JUSTIN BIEBER SPOTTED AT THE PLAZA HOTEL IN NEW YORK CITY WITH A LADY FRIEND- COULD IT BE SOMETHING MORE?” a male voice says and then a picture flashed on the screen- Justin Bieber walking in front of a very beautiful girl “ MENDI?!?!” i reliaze the girl on the screen Is MY mendi- so I run out of the apartment and fly down the stairs trying to find the nearest taxi cab that will take me to the Plaza Hotel.

• Justin POV

I Look at Mendi’s beautiful face on the carpet.. What do I do? “AW F*ck Caitlin what did you do?!?!” I look at caitlin’s eyes, and I see that she is panicing “ I don’t know Justin, I really didn’t mean to do that, I just-“ “I don’t want to hear it Caitlin, Just help me get her on the bed” I lift Mendi up on the bed by her waist, and Caitlin picks up each of her legs like they have cooties and tosses them on the bed. “ Justin, What where you doing with her?” Caitlin asks me “ Nothing – Nothing at all” “Well then, im guessing your night wasn’t as fun as two days ago, was it?” caitilin asks as she runs her tiny finger down my chest “ Caitlin, that was a really big mistake- okay?” How could I have done such a horrible thing, especially now, looking at Mendi’s face. But what did Mendi mean when she said ‘im not with your man’? does that mean she doesn’t have the same feelings for me as I do for her? But-“ Look Justin, It wasn’t a mistake, I know you enjoyed it” Caitlin said inturruppting my train of tought. She was now on top of me and trying to kiss me “ Caitlin stop it NOW!” “Noo what are you gonna do about it?” Caitlin reached down and planted a long, hard kiss on me- and for a second, I kissed back, Why? I don’t know. But that very moment was the moment Mendi decided to open her eyes. “Justin?- What the F8ck are you doing?” “Its not what it looks, like Mendi-“ KNOCK KNOCK* -comes from the door “MENDI IT”S ME CASSIE, OPEN THE DOOR!” why was everyone knocking our door today, what happened to security!?! Mendi got up slowly and walked to the door “ Cassie?” Mendi reached over and gave this Cassie girl a big hug and was so exicted to see her- I wish Mendi could give me hugs like that “Hey chica, whats up with you being with this Bieber kid im hearing about on the TV?” I see Mendi shoot me a nasty look- “Nothing, it was a mistake for trusting him- Lets go home.” Mendi puts her arm around Cassie's shoulders and Cassie looks confused- then puts the pieces together when she looks at me and Cailtin. "Nice going" Cassie snorts then her and Mendi walk out. im pretty sure the most painful thing I have ever expirenced was Cassie taking Mendi out that door, Because i didn't know if i would be seeing Mendi again.

Chapter 4 – Toot It and Boot it

Mendi's POV


I tug at this really short tight skirt Cassie made me wear to Valerie’s party, I know I look like a whore.“but everyone else here does too” Cassie told me, so I agreed to wear this one shouldered shirt that’s hemline floated three inches above my belly button. I might as well just of wore my underwear, I adjust my skirt so I can sit down on the couch in the very back of the party. I find a small glass of a mysterious alcoholic drink, and I drink it. It’s been 2 days since I left Justin in that hotel with that crazy chick, Caitlin, and so far it hasn’t been going great. I feel terrible, not only for the fact that I left Justin, but I had the chance to get away from here, and I came running back, he is probably getting ready to go to California for the VMA’s I heard about on the radio. It’s like no matter how fast I run, I always end up coming back to this damn neighborhood, for all I know my mother could be across the street buying crack from that crazy homeless man. Not only am I back in this place I tried to run away from, I feel bad that I left Justin, we had a connection that I never felt with any boy before. If it were any other guy, I would be over him by now, but for some reason im not over Justin. But the fact that he was making out with the girl that almost gave me a concussion- WHILE I was unconscious- pissed me off. I look up and watch Cassie freak with Shawn Dodson,to the song “Toot it and Boot It’ Shawn was one of the hottest guys in our school- they might as well have sex on the floor “Hey Chica, Que Tal?” I look up and there is Christian Perez – THE hottest guy at our school- he was absolutely stunning. Christian sat down next to me and put his hands on my lower thigh “ wanna dance” he asks “ I have nothing better to do so, yeah” Christian leads me to were everyone is dancing and he puts his hands on my hips and starts freaking with me. For some reason, this feels wrong- Very Wrong. - But I continue to dance with him for the next 5 minutes. ‘ Chris, I don’t want to dance anymore’ I turn around and tell him “Okay wanna do something else?’ Chris says getting really close to me and putting his hands around my waist. Panicking, I back up, not knowing that I’m getting closer to Valerie’s bedroom “ no, I wanna go home” Even though I had no home to go to... “HMMM are you sure about that? “ Chris licks his lips and grabs my hips and pulls me up against him. “ CHRIS LETMME GOOO” I hit his chest with fists, but I’m too small to get him off of me “hmm Lil’ shawty how about.. NO” Chris throws me over his shoulder and takes me into Valerie’s dark bedroom, and I start crying “ Chris PLEASE stop….” But he ignores my cries, throws me on the bed, rips off my shirt and starts kissing my neck “ STOP IT please please please” But he ignores me again, and I give up, I have learned from experience that it will be over faster if I just give up now. I just lay there crying. He takes off my skirt and just looks at me “ Now I can say I banged the hottest girl in school” His eyes look so evil, it makes me cry even more I go limp and don’t move. Right before he is about to do the deed, the door busts open “ WHAT THE F*CK ARE YOU DOING YOU ASSHOLE” a boy comes in a punches Chris in the mouth. “ Little F*cker, this is none of your business” Chris comes closer to the boy and takes a swing and hits the boy in the jaw “ HELL YES IT IS” the boy punches Chris in the temple- and that knocks him out. I’m still on the bed, crying my eyes out “ Mendi? Are you okay?” the lights come on in the room and I see who the boy is – It’s Justin. Justin runs over to me and hugs me “ yea yea im fine ” I say wiping my tears, picking up all my clothes and putting them on. “ Mendi, you almost got raped- howcan you be okay?!?!” I look at him in the eyes “ It’s nothing that hasn’t happened before…shouldn’t you be in California right now? And how did you even find me?!?!” I can see the pain in Justin’s eyes “ My flight leaves in Two hours- My team looked you up and apparently Mendi Delgado is a really rare name- there were only 256 in the Bronx area” I laughed “ You looked through all 256 Mendi’s just to find me?” I hugged Justin “ Thank You” I see Justin smile and hug me back “ I came here to ask you if you wanted to go to California with me…. And eventually go on tour with me…. “ This is escape I needed, Finally, I can get outta here “ Yes Justin I will go with you.. But do you promise not to pull any Caitlin sh*t anymore?” “ Only if you promise to be with me.” I thought about that.. Should I? Maybe I can just be with him to get out of here…I don’t really trust him anymore- I never really trust anyone but Cassie “ Yes, I will be your girlfriend, but um…” Justin hugs me back really hard “ Yea, Mendi?” “ Can Cassie come, she needs to get outta here just as much as I do..” “ Of Course she can, Lets Go.” I run out of the room to find Cassie- She is making out with Shawn on the couch- she obviously drunk out of her mind. I pull her away from Shawn and into the corner “ C’mon Cassie, were leaving” “OHHH WERE ARE weee going girrrlliieee?” Cassie stumbles “ California, Cassie, with Justin!” ‘ Ohh is that the ass hole that cheated on you and sh*t?” I think about it, it wasn’t really cheating on me but.. “ Yes, but we are just using him to get away from here” “ Okayyy sugar puff, CALIFORNIA GIRLS WE’RE UNFORGETTABLE, DAISY DUKES..” Cassie starts singing out loud. I pull Cassie towards the door where Justin is waiting “ Lets Go” Justin grabs my hand that isn’t pulling Cassie’s and we get into Justin’s Range Rover and drive away. In the RearView mirror i see Chris walking out of the buliding to where our car was just parked. he flips off our car and goes back inside....

I would have beat the F'uck outta that guy. I play hockey for realz and trust me he woulda had a hurtin on him! But my point is UPDATE!!!

Chapter 5

“FIRST CLASS MAY NOW BOARD FLIGHT 243 TO LOS ANGELES” The stewardess said over the loud speaker, “That’s us” Justin said, grabbing my hand “I’m nervous, Justin, this is my first time on a plane.” I squeeze his hand harder “OUCH” he flinches “Don’t worry baby doll, you will be just fine” Pattie pats my back comfortingly (We went back to hotel to pick up the crew after Justin had saved me and Cassie from that party.) “ It’s okay, Mendi, i'm nervous too” Cassie says. Soon enough, we were up in the plane, and my nerves were gone, I rest my head on Justin’s shoulder trying to make myself comfortable “ Mendi, I want you to know a few things before we get to L.A….” “ Yeah, Justin?” he clears his throat “ okay before anything, I want you to know that Caitlin forced herself on me, It wasn’t mutual.’ for some reason when I looked into his eyes, I believed him “ I believe you, you proved to me that you care about me when you looked through Bronx just to find me.” I did trust him completely again, it went against all of my rules about trusting people, but I did. “Okay and second, my fans can be a little. Crazy an-“ I stopped him “ And expect to be pushed around a bit, right” He looked at me like I was crazy “ A bit?!?! When we come out with our relationship your going to have to deal with death threats every day.” Huh? Coming out? “Whoa, hold up! I never agreed to coming out with this relationship! I’m not a girl who likes to be in the center of attention and i'm not going to be almost murdered on a daily basis!” I get off of Justin’s shoulder and I can see he looks really hurt “ WHAT? You don’t want everyone to know?” “Shh, your going to wake up Cassie,” I looked at Cassie sleeping next to Pattie in front of us “ No, im sorry if don’t want to die, and besides we just started going out, we should wait a litt-“ “Mendi, I have very strong feelings for you, and- Never mind, if you don’t want to then we won’t” “Thank you” I say then I fall asleep on Justin’s chest….

Cassie POV

I can hear Mendi and Justin fighting over if they should come out as a couple, Thank god Mendi is too stupid to take advantage of a situation and said they should wait. Mendi gets all the guys; NO WAY is she getting Justin too, im not going down without a fight. Mendi won’t even know what hit her. The seat belt sign comes on and i buckle mine “EVERYONE PLEASE PUT ON YOUR SEATBELTS, WE ARE GOING TO LAND IN LOS ANGELES IN 1O MINUTES, IT’S A BEAUTIFUL DAY …” Let the competition begin.
