Chapter 4: Stuck In The Moment...
Beth awoke with blurry eyes. All she could see was the bright light from her cell phone. She flipped it open and held it sleepily to her ear.
"Hello?" Beth could hear Justin's bright voice down the phone.
"Are you still asleep?" Beth shook her head, then realised he couldn't see her and mumbled a no.
"You're a terrible liar, do you wanna come over to watch a movie? I bought popcorn," Beth smiled to herself and sat up.
"Sure, I'll be over in 10 minutes," She pulled herself off of the bed and tugged skinny jeans over her boxers and a clean white t-shirt on. Tugging her converse on whilst pulling open the door, she stumbled over a loose paving stone. She put her hands out to save herself, but didn't have to as Justin caught her just in time.
"Woah, steady on,"
"I was being as fast as I could," Beth complained. Justin pushed his hand into hers and walked with her back to his house. Opening the door he flicked the lightswitch on and pushed her back onto the sofa. He flopped down onto a beanbag and switched on the film. Beth sat on the sofa for the first ten minutes, but slowly snuck down onto the back of his beanbag.
"Just can't resist me can you Dorward?"
"Don't flatter yourself Beebs," However she continued her descent and Justin pulled her round on his chest. The film forgotten. She touched noses with him making him grin and just as he was about to kiss her she swivelled back round to watch the film. She could hear him grumbling to himself behind her, but wrapped his arms around her anyway.

After the film Justin flipped the lights back on and Beth reclined on the bean bag. The phone rang making her jump. Justin picked it up.
"Hey mom.. yeah everything's fine. . no I don't mind. Ok see you tomorrow, love you, bye,"
"Mom's out all night," He raised an eyebrow.
"Wanna stay over?" Beth nodded.
"I'll blag to my dad that I'm staying round Jess'," She text her dad and told Justin that she could stay.
She followed him up the stairs to his room.
